The San Francisco Silent Film Festival is back finally! The festival was first held in 1996 and is one of the most important silent film festivals in the world. The opening film would be Erich von Stroheim’s Foolish Wives (1922), of which the restored version has kept the audience waiting for two years! There are also seven brand new restorations carried out by the festival.
