From Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 January, the Nederlands Silent Film Festival presents five beautiful, touching and hilarious silent films accompanied with live music via livestream.
One of the focuses of this edition will be on female artists and crew during the silent film period. With work of Germaine Dulac, Henny Porten and Mabel Normand. Anke Brouwers will talk about her new book Mooi zijn en zwijgen. About the versatility of silent film and the most striking women of the American silent film industry.
